It is time to build your comic empire! Age of Comics: The Golden Years throws you into the 1940s and 1950s as you invent new comic characters, build entirely new genres, and establish yourself as a comic book icon!

The objective of the game is to obtain as many Victory Points as possible by performing a variety of publishing tasks. Publishing new comics, gaining a reputation and a fan base, creating work of a high quality, and total income from your work will result in a winning score. But for all the Scrooge-McDuck’s out there, beware – at the end of the game, there will be taxes to pay!

As per all the ways to gain points above, there are plenty of ways to win. You can focus on expanding your publishing empire by sending out sales reps, build-up your creative teams, or just developing lots of new comic ideas to give to your audience.

While every choice has a trade-off, some choices are bigger than others. Do you want to spend time coming up with a new comic idea whole-cloth? Or do you want to rip off one of your competitors? Maybe your want to work exclusively in one genre of comic? Or do you just want to give your audience a whole spectrum of genres? The choice is up to you.
