Take to the air in the upcoming board game, Skyrise! Build the sky city of your dreams as you face-off against three of your friends to bid and build your way to glory.
Start by choosing one of four different Visionaries to play as: Fritz Lang, the Expressionist; Vera Mukhina, the Socialist artist; Antonio Sant’elia, the Futurist architect; or Tamara Lempicka, the Art Deco painter. Each Visionary has their own special buildings and construction materials.
Every turn, each player will place a bid to construct buildings across the city. Depending on the location of the structure, you will build favour with one of four factions: the Philosophers, the Naturalists, the Artists, or the Inventors. The more favour you build with each faction, the more prestige that you will have by the end of the game. Each faction’s prestige multiplies over the course of the game.
You can also gain prestige by claiming Patron discs. These discs will grant you and your opponents different amounts of prestige depending on the Patron. Bluff and deduce your way through the different Patrons to gain as much prestige as possible.
Near the end of the game, you will be able to build your Wonder. This powerful build will immediately win the bidding round and claim you a healthy bit of prestige.
