Unfathomable is a co-operative hidden identity game set in the world of Arkham Horror! All players find themselves on the SS Atlantica, a steamship on a voyage to Boston, that gets interrupted by some less than friendly visitors. After a strange ritual is performed in the hull of the ship by people unknown, creatures from the deep begin to make themselves known. Work to either sink the ship or keep it standing long enough to survive the night!

Similar to The Thing: Infection at Outpost 13, each player will be given a character card with special abilities. Draw a loyalty card to determine if you are Human or Hybrid. Humans will fight to save the SS Atlantica from the monsters beneath – but Hybrids feel strangely attracted to this monster from the deep.

At the end of each of your turns, draw a mythos card. Each mythos card introduces a new challenge for your group to face together. These challenges can range from a burst pipe to food rationing to creatures appearing on the ship. Work together to solve these challenges during each turn and survive the attack! But be careful – some of your party will be trying to ensure that tragedy occurs, leaving you all alone in the chilling waters of the sea.
