Scour 1920s Paris or New York as you search for your killers… and maybe find something hidden beneath the concrete and stone of your city…

You awake, but do not remember your name. Your memories are hazy, but still present. Your body is misshapen, broken, beaten – dead. Your death was not from natural causes – someone did this to you. There is only one thing left to do – find the person who killed you and bring them to justice. Whether justice is giving them to the police or burying them six feet under is up to you.

But something else is happening here. Machinations are in play, and you will need to cut through the smoke and mirrors to find the truth. Discover who you were, follow the trail to your murderer, and discover what has forced you to remain in the land of the living. Then, maybe, you will find eternal peace.

But beware – if you don’t solve your murder in time, you will have to start all over again. Fail enough times, and you will be forced to relive the same day over and over and over again, doomed to never see the other side of the veil.

Players will choose to play as one of six different character Playbooks. As this game is Powered by the Apocalypse, each archetype will have unique moves that players can activate throughout the game. Build your characters back story with the help of your Fate Weaver (Game Master), answering questions provided by the game. Finally, decide how you were connected to The Shattering Event, the event that has caused this supernatural phenomena.

Explore the city over the course of multiple twenty-four hour days, discovering as much as your can about your demise and the Event. As you begin to perform special actions and make your way to the truth, more and more supernatural Watchers will begin to take notice. These spectral forms may not interfere with your activities, but their presence will make everyday citizens more curious about your situation. And as people begin to look you over, they may discover more than they expected… leading to yet another grizzly end.
