In celebration of 25 years of One Piece, Bandai has revealed a brand new card game – One Piece: The TCG! This new game will incorporate major characters from the manga along with unique mechanics to help you in your search for the One Piece!
Similar to the Digimon release, there will be four starter decks to get new players familiar with the game system. These decks will include: The Straw Hat Pirates, The Worst Generation, The Seven Warlords of the Sea, and The Animal Kingdom Pirates.
You can also expect a booster set release soon after the starter decks! Romance Dawn will the first booster box set for players to customize their starter decks to their hearts desire.
It is important to note that while there have been previous One Piece TCG’s in the past, this new edition will be entirely independent of past versions. This means that cards in previous TCG versions of One Piece will not be compatible with the new format.
It’s time to set out and become the new King of Pirates! Gather your crew, set sail, and get ready to claim your destiny!
One Piece: The TCG comes out in July, 2022 in Japan, and later in 2022 for the rest of the world!
