Borderlands: Mister Torgue’s Arena of Badassery is a co-op board game all about fighting through hordes of bandits, skags, and other badass challenges! Play as some familiar Vault Hunters: Moze, Iron Bear, Mordecai, Bloodwing, Amara, or Salvador! Win encounters, and collect more and more loot on your way to victory!
Mister Torgue’s Arena is built from the [RE]action dice system, which was created by Monster Fight Club. Use the provided dice to mow down through enemies, use special abilities, and mark your wounds. Collect loot from defeated enemies, allowing you to gain cash, ammo, guns, medkits, new skills, and legendary items!
Each encounter is summarized in different game scenarios that you can use to set-up the game board. Use the Announcement Deck to dictate randomized enemy abilities and tactics to ramp up the danger! But beware – each Vault Hunter will need to draw a Spotlight card at the beginning of the game. Each card has specific conditions that need to be met in order to be activated. The card effects can range from bonuses to your team, or detriments to your crew. Defeat your opponents, survive your Spotlights, and win the game!
