Definitely a good sweeper at 3 damage to each creature but the real appeal of this one is the exile clause which is certain to help it find play.
Not all that impressive but as a combat trick in limited may find some use.
Presenting the neo-Jackal Pup…it’s hard to say if this guy will pan out to be good enough to steal a spot in Red Deck Wins but with it’s pump ability might have a chance.
While it is very expensive cost wise it does have a place beside Hythonia to be able to pick off any additional creatures after her Monstrosity sweeper effect.
While it does seem to take some time to get the abilities running there is no doubt that it can be built around and abused. With an untap ability like Magewright’s Stone or Jandor’s Saddlebags you’re able to fire off either ability in one shot. And the last ability can be used either as draw or removal, depending on the need.
Now this is a Heroic ability that I can really get behind. Very good stats as well for the cost.
With every trigger of Heroic essentially equating to a +2/+2 he should definitely see some kind of standard play. It’s also pretty cool how he becomes a one shot kill with Enlarge into an empty board.
Pretty standard vanilla 3/3.
All five of the Ordeals look to have good effect. I could see the red playing a role in aggressive Boros/RDW style decks for extra reach. All should be midround draftable.
Not a terrible flying body with the ability to protect itself on a whim. Scry 3 is certainly nothing to laugh at but not overly impressive as a total package.
As a one-drop with 2 power I don’t doubt it has a chance to see play in White Weenie decks. The protection can be very relevant in the proper circumstances and life gain is always a bonus extra.
Flying, trample
Demonheart Chimera’s power is equal to the number of instant and sorcery cards in your graveyard
Counter target enchantment, instant or sorcery spell. Its controller puts a 2/2 blue Bird creature token with flying onto the battlefield under his control.
I love the flavor of this card, an excellent ode to the Trojan horse.
This is definitely a weapon that control decks will be using. Scry is exactly what you want on a counterspell.
Could very easily find a way into Red Deck Wins style decks. Imagine Legion Loyalist into Ash Zealot into Boros Reckoner into Fanatic of Mogis kind of shenanigans.
Another one of those build around Heroic cards. Might find some kind of niche play.
Interesting cards these Bestow creatures. This one has a pretty useful ability.
Basically a Glorious Anthem with upside. This ability will definitely cause a few big creatures to think twice about attacking.
A pretty sweet one-drop for black, albeit not exactly in a well supported tribe for that color. Can gain you some incremental advantage if you can abuse it well. Definitely draftable if you are running a fair amount of combat tricks.
WOW !!! I love all of these Weapons of the Gods, but this is just sickeningly powerful. I have no doubt that this card is going to be used to astonishing effect. The Lifelink is just the icing on the cake.
Whenever another creature dies, scry 1. (Look at the top card of your library. You may put that card on the bottom of your library.)
: Reaper of the Wild gains deathtouch until end of turn.
: Reaper of the Wild gains hexproof until end of turn.
