Monsterhearts is a coming of age game about discovering who you are. You play as a high schooler trying to discover who they are. You have to navigate social circles, popularity… and secretly being a supernatural monster.
The interesting mechanic of this game is the use of Strings. Strings is social currency that you can utilize throughout the game to gain bonuses to your rolls, or to gain some kind of social advantage. They can turn a close fail into a total success if you used at the right moment.
Do be warned: this game often does go into darker themes. There is no campaign guide or plot to follow, but when dealing with questions of identity, sexuality, being an awkward teenager, and mixing in supernatural danger, just be ready in case things take a dark turn. I would highly recommend the group have a discussion before beginning the game about what is on and off the table as far as content and content warnings.

If you have ever wanted D&D to be more goofy and death metal, Mork Borg is for you. Mork Borg is a pick up and play game where you and a group of adventurers slog through blood and bile to find ancient scrolls, coin, and glory. It requires the same dice as D&D and Pathfinder, so it is an easy transition over.
The big bonus of Mork Borg is that it is much faster to get character creation done up front. You simply roll a few dice, and you have your character. You don’t need to roll for ability scores, look through a bunch of feats, etc. The characters builder is simple but effective, allowing you to still live your adventuring dreams.

Bluebeard’s Bride is a very unique and meta RPG. It follows the tale of Bluebeard, a man who marries woman after woman, each of them dying for mysterious reasons. You play Bluebeard’s fiancee, discovering the truth about Bluebeard, and what happened to the other wives.
In Bluebeard’s Bride, you need four players and a GM to play it properly. However, you do not play four different characters. You player four different voices inside of the future bride’s head. Each voice represents a different side of the bride’s worries and priorities.
The group decides as they explore each room if it results in something suspicious Bluebeard has done in the past or not. Is it just a normal room? Or did something sinister happen to one of the past brides here? The choice is up to you.
