Man, that snake is adorable! Just look at his cute little face and eyes, so cute! He’s even all bundled up… oh, I get it, he’s a noose. That’s terrifying. And are those… yup, boots behind him, with several other nooses in the background. And possibly even a body. Well played, Kev Walker, well played.
Scary art aside, the January FNM Promo is a sweet one. Noose Constrictor is a very powerful card because of its ability. It’s playable in a number of decks, so make sure you pick yours when you can in January!
When you want to madness cards and turn lands into 1/1 creatures, who you gonna call…? The Bloodline, apparently. The new art by the talented Magali Villeneuve makes this one FNM Promo card one you won’t want to miss out on!
Angels can certainly have tempers, especially when gripped with madness. This guy does not look like he’s having a good time, not at all. You, however, will be having a great time if you manage to pick up one of these awesome FNM Promos coming up in November. Fiery Temper has already shown itself to be an important part of Standard every time it’s printed, so being able to bling out your standard deck seems pretty good. Also, if you don’t pick them up, it might cause you to lose your temper. And no one wants that.
The ranks of the dead rise from the dark watery abyss this October! October’s FMN Promo is Rise from the Tides! Sling your spells left and right to up the count of sorcery and instant cards in your grave, then throw down this card for a horde zombies to overwhelm any adversary. With an army of zombies at your command, it will give your opponents a new meaning of “sink or swim”.
Coming up in August we will be seeing an interesting offering for the FNM promo card with Crumbling Vestige. Now while it may not be the most impactful card, it is interesting in the way it not only gets around the ‘enters the battlefield’ drawback by providing mana the turn it enters but also acts as a temporary colour fixing. Not to mention it did find it’s way into Michael Majors top 16 W/B Eldrazi deck back in April, and may yet find it’s way into high level play.

Sometimes you just really need to find a land. In all probability, a Tron land. Fear not, friends! Your favourite tool in RG Tron is here, and with sweet new art by Christine Choi, the artist who has done a number of cool cards recently, chief among those the enemy filter land expeditions!
Although RG Tron is the most popular home for this card, it is still in standard for a while and it’s possible it’ll find a home there. Cards that are legal in Standard and played in eternal formats are generally pretty good to pick up, so make sure you play in some FNM tournaments this June to get your hands on this sweet Sylvan Scrying FNM promo!
Goblins goblins goblins! This iconic tribe has been a part of magic’s history for about as long as we can remember. Little green men have been smashing faces for as long as there have been faces to smash. Along with most other common tribes, Goblins have had their fare share of “lords”, typically goblins that pump all other goblins. Possibly the scariest goblin lord to have ever been printed, Goblin Warchief eschews the lord mold and makes his friends faster and cheaper rather than stronger. One mana hasty Piledrivers? Two mana Matrons? Sign me up!
With Goblin Warchief coming in as an FNM promo for May, and Smash to Smithereens being the March Promo, red mages can finally have the tricked-out bling bling deck they’ve always wanted. Don’t forget about all the other sweet promos that exist for sweet red cards like Goblin Guide, Lightning Bolt, and Goblin Piledriver. The bling is real!
Also, just look at that sweet art! Mark Zug, the same artist who did Ponyback Brigade, puts his unique spin on this fierce fiend. At first, it appears that he’s wearing a fur coat, but a closer look reveals that he’s actually just wearing a dead animal. Awesome.
With the domination of Eldrazis in Standard and Modern, Blighted Fen FNM promo is more then welcome. The fact it can cast one of the new colorless creatures is great.
Even better, this land can serve as a removal for hexproof and shroud creature that no other removal will be able to manage.
Commander players will love the art by Jason Felix as the caustic fog spread over Battle for Zendikar with the glooming doom caused from the wake of the Eldrazin annihilation. Blighted Fen FNM promos will be given out to all
first place of our FNM tournaments and the rest will be handed out randomly to participants.
See you at our April FNM soon!
